Answers to common questions...
Your driving record is made up of two parts: your history of insurance claims and your record of Highway Traffic Act convictions, (such as speeding tickets). For information on your claims you can call (888) 430-9906 and request a free copy of your insurance history. You will need to pay a visit to your local Ministry of Transportation office or kiosk if you want to see your conviction history.
Nope. If you want to insure only your motorcycle with us, that's fine. (But if you want to insure your home or car with us too, you might save even more). We are a full service brokerage offering a wide variety of insurance products including cars, homes, cottages, boats, fifth-wheels and so on.
We sell 12-month term policies only because we feel they are better value for the dollar. Your premium on the annual policy is earned in much the same way as a six-month term, meaning that if you cancel the policy after it's been in force for more than six-months, you will receive little or nothing back from the company. This is because insurance companies are basing their prices on the riding season, (which are generally six-months long in Ontario). However, if the riding season in a given year is longer because of a milder spring or autumn, the 12-month policy provides for the extra riding time.
Absolutely. Inexperienced riders need to get their start somewhere. We recommend that riders going through the graduated licensing process give consideration to rider's training to save even more off their insurance.
